I work therapeutically with children, teenagers, and their parents to help resolve difficulties they are encountering in their lives. My approach to counselling and therapy is collaborative, recognizing parents as the experts on their child and as integral to finding solutions. I have considerable experience supporting adolescents, particularly those who are neurodivergent, including those with Autism (previously known as Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD/Condition ASC/Aspergers Syndrome), and other neurodivergent presentations.
The Neurodivergent world is rapidly developing in terms of awareness and identification both clinically and people’s awareness of their own Neurodivergence. My work similarly is broadening in response to the needs of these young people. Being Autistic girls, boys, teens, young people and parents, some of whom are discovering their own Neurodivergence later in life.
I am passionate about helping teenagers and their families, offering targeted teenage support to promote well-being and resilience during adolescence. Whether addressing issues related to school, social challenges, or emotional regulation, I aim to create a safe and supportive space for neurodivergent individuals to thrive.
